  • What Does NSOM Provide?
We provide all meals, lodging, tents, group equipment for all programs, group preparation material, insurance, our staff, and much more.  So basically, all you need to bring is a sleeping bag, pillow, clothes, Bible, and yourself.  The rest is taken care of for you.

    What Ages Can Come?

NSOM welcomes students between 6th and 12th grade.  Older students work best for the day camp program.   We will discuss the maturity of your group and fit you with the best program and area.  College groups are also welcome to serve at North Shore Outdoor Ministries.

    How Many Leaders Should Come?
There should be at least 1 leader to 6 students for your group.  A leader should be at least 18 years old.

How Big Can The Group Be?
A group of 12 or more works best, but any size will be accepted.  If your group is too small, you may be combined with another small group.

How Many Vehicles Do We Need To Bring?
Your group is responsible for all transportation and costs.  Every day will involve some traveling.

How Can We Reserve A Week?

The weeks are reserved on a first come, first serve basis.

Can we swim while we are at NSOM?

Unless you have a licensed life guard, there is NO swimming allowed during your trip.  This is a law that we must abide by issued by the State of Michigan. The lifeguard must follow all policies and procedures outlined by the State of Michigan regulations.

This summer season 2009, NSOM does have an on-staff lifeguard.  So there will be swimming during your trip.
